Intro to Hedging
The “Intro to Hedging” Webinar reviews the key aspects of energy hedging. The Webinar is ideal for those new to hedging or looking for a refresher without having to take a full one or two day class.
Topics include the basics of futures, options and swaps, simple mechanics of placing and removing both price and basis hedges, and hedging “lingo”. There will also be many detailed examples.
This webinar is taught by veteran energy advisor and former engineer Cynthia Kase, who has 25-plus years of concrete hands-on experience both as a cash market and futures trader as well as hedging advisor and statistical market analyst.
