Who Is Kase and Company?

Cynthia A. Kase, CMT, MFTA, President of Kase and Company, Inc., CTA, BS UMass and ME Northeastern, both in Chemical Engineering, worked in that field for the first 10 years of her career commencing in 1973. In 1980, she joined Standard Oil Company of California's Corporate engineering department and three years later was transferred into the Company's international oil trading arm, CIOC. She then moved to New York in 1985. After a short stint trading crude, she became Manager, Clean Products Trading responsible for all business in the eastern half of the Western Hemisphere.

Having entered energy trading as it was becoming commoditized and computerized, Kase taught herself technical analysis and trading system programming and went on not only to become accredited as a Certified Market Technician (CMT), but also to win the Market Technician's Association's coveted "Best of the Best" award in 1997. She has since received a Master of Financial Technical Analysis (MFTA) desigtnation from the International Federation of Technical Analysts.

In late 1992, Ms. Kase founded Kase and Company, Inc. Uniquely qualified as cash market trader, market technician, risk manager, and software developer, she is known as the energy markets premier forecaster and has advised hundreds of firms in state-of-the-art trading techniques and risk management.

Now with a mature practice in providing software, strategies and solutions for the corporate and institutional energy sector, Kase is recognized as the industry leader in the field, offering unparalleled forecasting, technical services and software.

Our Partners

P. Dean Rogers, AP, is the general manager of the Kase Call Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is Ms. Kase's right-hand man and protege overseeing all of Kase's back end operations including IT management, programming and client support. He has taken on the responsibilities of assisting Kase grow into an even stronger and broader company into the future.

Mr. Rogers began his career with Kase in early 2001 as a programmer, but has developed into a technical analyst and now writes the weekly Crude Oil Commentary and assists Ms. Kase with the Natural Gas Commentary and Quarterly Hedge Reports.

He is also an instructor at Kase's classes and webinars and provides all of the necessary training and support for Kase's hedging models and trading indicators on both the private and corporate sides.
